Abstract:
THE PENSION BENEFIT GUARANTY CORPORATION HAS REQUESTED THE COOPERATION OF LIFE INSURANCE COMPANIES IN PROVIDING QUARTERLY ILLUSTRATIONS OF NONPARTICIPATING SINGLE PREMIUM GROUP ANNUITY RATE FACTORS. THIS INFORMATION WILL ASSIST THE PBGC IN ESTABLISHING AND MAINTAINING A REALISTIC BASIS FOR THE VALUATION OF LIABILITIES OF TERMINATED DEFINED BENEFIT PENSION PLANS, AND WILL BE USED ONLY FOR THIS PURPOSE. THE PARTICIPATION OF YOUR COMPANY IN THIS PROGRAM IS GREATLY APPRECIATED.
