Terms of Clearance:
Although the fundamental principle of reduction in costs within the government is the basis of this change in information collection, it stands only on the basis of an agreement between MARAD and the Coast Guard. This collection is approved for use through May 31, 1984 on the understanding that MARAD is developing a rule to combine the two authorities for information collection. After publication of such a rule, this collection can be evaluated in a clearer light.
