Abstract:
SECTION 4481 IMPOSES A TAX ON THE USE ON PUBLIC HIGHWAYS OF ANY HIGHWA MOTOR VEHICLE WHICH HAS A TAXABLE GROSS WEIGHT OF AT LEAST 33,000 LBS. THE TAX IS PAID BY THE PERSON IN WHOSE NAME THE VEHICLE IS REGISTERED OR REQUIRED TO BE REGISTERED. GENERALLY, THE TAX WILL BE IN EFFECT AFTER JUNE 30, 1984.
