THIS INFO. IS NECESSASRY TO ASSURE THAT RAILROAD SIGNAL SYSTEMS ARE TESTED AND MAINTAINED IN SAFE AND SUITABLE CONDITION, THAT THE SYSTEMS INSTALLED PROVIDE THE PUBLIC AND RAILROAD EMPLOYEES THE SAFETY INTENDE BY CONGRESS IN THE ACT, AND THAT MODIFICATIONS OR MALFUNCTIONS IN SUCH SYSTEMS ARE REPORTED.

On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that the collection of information encompassed by this request complies with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR 1320.8(b)(3).
