Abstract:
THIS REPORT COLLECTS INFORMATION ON INTERNATIONAL CLAIMS OF U.S. BANKS HOLDING COMPANIES USED FOR SUPERVISORY AND ANALYTICAL PURPOSES. THIS INFORMATION IS ALSO USED TO ANALYZE THE COUNTRY EXPOSURE OF BANKS IN ORDER TO DETERMINE THE DEGREE OF RISK IN THEIR PORTFORLIOS AND THE POSSIBLE IMPACT ON U.S. BANKS OF ANY ADVERSE DEVELOPMENTS IN PARTICULAR COUNTRIES.
