Abstract:
IN ORDER TO QUALIFY CERTIAN PROPERTY FOR THE GIFT AND ESTATE TAX DEDUCTIONS, AN ELECTION IS REQUIRED BY SECTIONS 2056 (B)(7)(B) AND 2523(F). THE REGULATIONS PROVIDE GUIDANCE FOR MAKING THE ELECTIONS. WE USE THE INFORMATION TO ENSURE COMPLIANCE WITH THE REGULATIONS.
