PURSUANT TO SECTIONS 4 AND 16 OF THE NGA, THE COMMISSION REQUIRES THES DATA TO DETERMINE IF AN INTERSTATE PIPELINE'S RATE FILINGS COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THIS PART AND THAT RATES AND CHARGES FOR THE TRANSPORTATION OR SALE OF NATURAL GAS SUBJECT TO THE JURISDICTION OF THE COMMISSION ARE JUST AND REASONABLE.
