Abstract:
UNDER SECTION 19(B) OF THE SECURITIES EXCHANGE ACT OF 1934, THE COMMISSION MUST MAKE CERTAIN SPECIFIED FINDINGS BEFORE IT MAY APPROVE PROPOSED RULE CHANGES OF SELF-REGULATORY ORGANIZATIONS. RULE 19B-R AND FORM 19B-4, ADOPTED IN 1975 AND AMENDED IN 1980, ARE DESIGNED TO PROVIDE THE COMMISSION WITH INFORMATION NECESSARY TO MAKE THE REQUIRED FINDINGS.
