SECTION 6112 REQUIRES ORGANIZERS AND SELLERS OF INTEREST IN POTENTIALLY ABUSIVE TAX SHELTERS TO MAINTAIN LISTS OF INVESTORS IN THOSE TAX SHELTERS. ANY PERSON REQUIRED TO MAINTAIN A LIST MUST FURNISH THE LIST TO THE SECRETARY UPON REQUEST AND GENERALLY MUST RETAIN THE INFORMATION FOR 7 YEARS.
