Abstract:
IRC SECTION 39 REQUIRES INFORMATION IN ORDER TO CLAIM A CREDIT FOR FEDERAL EXCISE TAX ON CERTAIN GASOLINE AND SPECIAL FUELS USED. THIS FORM IS USED TO FIGURE THE AMOUONT OF CREDIT. DATA IS USED TO VERIFY THE VALIDITY OF THE CLAIMS OF BUSINESS ENTITIES THAT USE GASOLINE AND SPECIAL FUELS FOR OFF HIGHWAY USE AND QUALIFIED TAXICABS USING GASOLINE AND SPECIAL FUELS.
