Abstract:
THE REGISTRATION PROVIDES IDENTIFICATION OF ALL CIVIL AIRCRAFT IN THE UNITED STATES. THE REGISTRATION RECORD ALSO PROVIDES EVIDENCE OF OWNERSHIP WHICH MAY BE USED IN COURT IF THERE IS A CONTROVERSY OVER OWNERSHIP. THE AFFECTED PUBLIC IS ANY AIRCRAFT OWNER (INDIVIDUAL OR BUSINESS).
