Abstract:
SECTION 73.99 (4)(D) REQUIERES THAT AN AM STATION INTENDING TO OPERATE PRE-SUNRISE SERVICE AUTHORIZATION (PSSA) OR POST-SUNSET SERVICE AUTHORIZATION FILE A LETTER WITH THE FCC GIVING LICENSEE'S NAME, CALL LETTERS AND A DESCRIPTION OF THE METHOD WHEREBY ANY NECESSARY POWER REDUCTION WILL BE ACHIEVED. THIS NOTIFICATION WILL ASSURE THE COMMISSION THAT THE LICENSEE IS IN FULL COMPLIANCE WITH THE FCC RULES AND WILL NOT CAUSE INTERFERENCE TO OTHER FACILITIES.
