Abstract:
RSPA FORM 31, FILED BY CERTIFICATED AIR CARRIERS PURSUANT TO 14 CFR PART 241, PROVIDES BASIC FINANCIAL AND TRAFFIC DATA WHICH ARE USED EXTENSIVELY BY THE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION IN ITS ONGOING PROGRAM UNDER THE FEDERAL AVIATION ACT OF 1958, AS AMENDED BY THE AIRLINE DEREGULATION ACT OF 1978. ALSO, THE DEPARTMENTS OF COMMERCE, AIR FORCE AND LABOR ARE USERS OF FORM 41 DATA ALONG WITH THE STATE GOVERNMENTS AND THE GENERAL PUBLIC.
