This information collection is approved for use under the Paperwork Reduction Act through 3/31/86 only. It must be resubmitted before then for OMB approval with a revised justification discussing UMTA's plans for reducing the reporting burden substantially over the next two years, with specific estimates of net expected reductions. In addition, the revised justification must list and describe each of the data elements in the section 15 reporting system, showing which of these UMTA actually uses and how it uses them. Before resubmitting this information collection, UMTA must also revise its program requirements to remove any that mandate a separate independent audit of the section 15 data. Those audits that UMTA requires must be through the single audit of OMB Circular A-128.
