THE HOURS OF SERVICE ACT, AS AMENDED, REQUIRED CARRIE TO MAINTAIN RECORDS OF EMPLOYEES HOURS OF SERVICE AND TO MAKE MONTHLY REPORTS OF EXCESS SERVICE TO FRA. INFORMATION MAINTAINED AND REPORTED BY CARRIERS SHALL SERVE AS A BASIS FOR MONITORING THEIR COMPLIANCE.
