Abstract:
THE NATIONAL PARK SERVICE USES THE PUBLIC GATHERING PERMIT TO AUTHORIZ DEMONSTRATIONS AND SPECIAL EVENTS IN NATIONAL CAPITAL REGION PARKS AND TO GRANT WAIVERS OF NUMERICAL LIMITATIONS ON DEMONSTRATIONS ON THE WHITE HOUSE SIDEWALK AND IN LAFAYETTE PARK. PERMITS ARE ISSUED TO INDIVIDUALS AND GROUPS. INFORMATION IS NECESSARY TO ALLOCATE RESOURCES, TO PLAN FOR THE EVENTS AND TO EVALUATE THE POTENTIAL
