Abstract:
THE ED FORM 799 IS USED BY APPROXIMATELY 12000 PARTICIPANTS IN THE GUARANTEED STUDENT LOAN PROGRAM TO APPLY FOR INTEREST AND SPECIAL ALLOWANCE. P.L. 99-177 REQUIRED A NEW CATEGORY OF LOANS BE ADDED EFFECTIVE 3/1/86 THESE NEW LOANS WILL BE COLLECTED ON THE ED FORM 799 ADDENDUM. THIS INFORMATION IS NOT COLLECTED ELSEWHERE.
