Abstract:
STATES SEEKING TO RECEIVE INTERIM OR FINAL AUTHORIZATION UNDER RCRA TO ADMINISTER AND ENFORCE THEIR HAZARDOUS WASTE MANAGEMENT PROGRAMS IN LIEU OF THE FEDERAL PROGRAM MAY SUBMIT AN APPLICATION TO EPA. THE INFORMATION SUBMITTED SHOULD DEMONSTRATE THAT THE STATE PROGRAM IS EQUIVALENT TO THE FEDERAL PROGRAM FOR A FINAL AUTHORIZATION OR SUBSTANTIALLY EQUIVALENT FOR AN INTERIM AUTHORIZATION.
