Abstract:
THE MARINE MAMMAL ACT REQUIRES THE SECRETARY TO BAN THE IMPORTATION OF COMMERCIAL FISH FROM NATIONS USING COMMERCIAL FISHING TECHNOLOGY WHICH RESULTS IN A KILL OF MARINE MAMMALS IN EXCESS OF U.S. STANDARDS. THE INFORMATION COLLECTIO SUPPLIES DATA TO DETERMINE THE ORIGIN OF IMPORTED FISH.
