Abstract:
TITLE 46 CFR 148 REQUIRES THAT SHIPPING PAPERS AND A DANGEROUS CARGO MANIFEST BE PREPARED AND ACCOMPANY ALL SHIPMENTS OF HAZARDOUS DANGEROUS BULK CARGOES. IT IS ALSO REQUIRED THAT THE SHIPPER OR MANUFACTURER PETITION FOR A SPECIAL PERMIT FOR ALL SHIPPING PROCEDURES FOR HAZARDOUS MATERIALS THAT DEVIATE IN ANY MANNER FROM 46 CFR 148.
