Terms of Clearance:
This ICR is approved until February 1989 when the Needs Survey Report is due to Congress. Thus the approval only covers one survey. OW should plan to submit an updated ICR for the next biennial survey and report. The next ICR must include the guidances which are sent out prior to the survey itself. Also any survey which is anticipated for the 1990 report should be submitted separately with any of its pertanent guidances. OW should use all available information currentl available to it including past Needs surveys before any additional information is collected. Please change all references to the old ICR # (2000-0034) and use 2040-0050.

Abstract:
CONSTRUCTION COST ESTIMATES AND TECHNICAL DATA ARE COLLECTED BY AN EPA CONTRACTOR FROM PUBLICLY OWNED WASTEWATER TREATMENT FACILITIES. THE INFORMATION IS INCLUDED IN THE BIENNIAL NEEDS SURVEY REPORT TO CONGRESS WHICH IS REQUIRED BY THE CLEAN WATER ACT.
