Abstract:
THE TEMPORARY REGULATIONS PRESCRIBE THE MANNER IN WHICH AN ENTITY ELEC TO BE TAXED AS A REAL ESTATE MORTGAGE INVESTMENT CONDUIT (REMIC) AND THE PROCEDURES FOR FILING A FEDERAL INCOME TAX RETURN AS A REMIC. THE REMIC MUST ALSO FILE CERTAIN INFORMATION RETURNS REPORTING THE AMOUNT OF INCOME EARNED BY INVESTORS IN THE REMIC.
