Abstract:
SECTION 1.565 OF THE REGULATIONS REQUIRES THAT A PERSON RECEIVING A CONSENT DIVIDEND FILE A FORM 972. THE TEMPORARY REGULATIONS WOULD MAKE CONSENT DIVIDENDS AVAILABLE TO FEWER TAXPAYERS BY LIMITING THE APPLICATION OF SECTION 565.
