Abstract:
TIT VII, PART A, OF THE REHAB ACT AUTHORIZES GRANTS TO ASSIST STATE VR AGENCIES (A TOTAL OF 84 STATE AGENCIES) IN PROVIDING IL REHABILITATION SERVICES TO THE SEVERELY HANDICAPPED WHO DO NOT HAVE POTENTIAL FOR GAINFUL EMPLOYMENT BUT MAY RECEIVE VR SERVICES TO HELP THEM FUNCTION INDEPENDENTLY. EACH STATE SUBMITS A STATE PLAN IN ORDER TO RECEIVE FEDERAL FUNDS. (29 USC 796D).
