Terms of Clearance:
Approval is granted for a trial period of one year for FCC to collect information without prior submission of forms to OMB, subject to the following conditions: (1) FCC will show the OMB control number and expiration date on all forms, (2) FCC will forward to OMB a complete set of forms used as soon as the forms are deemed final, (3) FCC will publish a notice in the Federal Register announcing the information collection prior to sending out the forms, (4) the FCC senior official for IRM will conduct a review, prior to sending out the forms, to ascertain that all information requested has practical utility and is the least burdensome way of satisfying FCC's needs, (5) FCC will forward a copy of results of this review to OMB immediately upon completion, and (6) in preparing forms for 1989 FCC will take into consideration the complaint of small telephone companies (see letter of 12/22/87 from Jon F. Kelly to Wendy L. Gramm) and report results of consideration to OMB upon resubmission.

CERTAIN LOCAL EXCHANGE CARRIERS ARE REQUIRED ANNUALLY TO SUBMIT TARIFF REVIEW PLANS IN PARTIAL FULFILLMENT OF COST SUPPORT MATERIAL REQUIRED BY 47 CFR 61.38. THE INFORMATION IS USED BY FCC AND PUBLIC TO DETERMINE THE JUSTNESS AND REASONABLENESS OF RATES, TERMS AND CONDITIONS IN TARIFFS AS REQUIRED BY THE COMMUNICATIONS ACT OF 1934,
