Abstract:
NATIONAL FOREST TIMBER PURCHASERS ARE REQUIRED TO COMPETITITVELY BID USING FORM 2400-14 OR 2400-42A WHEN BIDDING ON FOREST SERVICE TIMBER SALES. FORM FS 2400-41A IS USED FOR SHORT NOTICE (10 DAY) OF SOLICITATIONS, WHILE FORM 2400-14 IS USED FOR 30 DAY ADVERTISMENT SALES. PROSPECTIVE PURCHASERS MUST COMPLETE THESE FORMS IN ORDER TO QUALIFY FOR AWARD OF THE TIMBER SALE CONTRACT.
