IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE IMMIGRATION MARRIAGE FRAUD AMENDMENTS (ENACTED 11/10/86), THE PETITION MUST BE FILED BEFORE THE SECOND ANNIVERSARY OF THE DATE ON WHICH THE ALIEN ACQUIRED STATUS. FAILURE TO FILE WILL RESULT IN THE AUTOMATIC TERMINATION OF STATUS AND DEPORTATION.
