Abstract:
RULE 15BA2-1 ORIGINALLY ADOPTED ON OCTOBER 15, 1975 PROVIDES THAT AN APPLICATION FOR REGISTRATION WITH THE COMMISSION BY A BANK MUNICIPAL SECURITIES DEALER MUST BE FILE ON FORM MSD. THE INFORMATION REQUIRED TO BE DISCLOSED ON FORM MSD IS NECESSARY FOR THE COMMISSION TO DETERMINE WHETHER OR NOT REGISTRATION A MUNICIPAL SECURITIES DEALER SHOULD BE GRANTED.
