INDUSTRY STANDARDS WHICH THE COAST GUARD IS ADOPTING REQUIRE THE POSTING OF TWO PLACARDS CONTAINING SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS FOR GAS COOKING APPLIANCES. OWNERS AND OPERATORS OF PASSENGER-CARRYING VESSELS WHO ELECT TO INSTALL THESE APPLIANCES WOULD BE AFFECTED.
