Abstract:
THE INFORMATION REQUESTED IS NEEDED TO PERFORM STATUTORY RESPONSIBILITY OF CALCULATING FAIR AND REASONABLE RATES FOR U.S. FLAG COMMERCIAL VESSELS CARRYING PREFERENCE CARGOES. DATA IS CURRENTLY NOT COLLECTED FOR MOST VESSELS. DATA SUBMISSION WOULD BEGIN AS SOON AS REGULATION IS PUBLISHED IN THE FEDERAL REGISTER AS A FINAL REGULATION. THE DATA WILL BE HELD IN CONFIDENCE.
