THE FEDERAL INSURANCE ADMINISTRATOR COLLECTS INFORMATION FROM COMMUNIT OFFICIALS WHEN A FLOOD INSURANCE STUDY BEGINS TO (1) ESTABLISH PROPOSE BASE FLOOD ELEVATIONS AND/OR IDENTIFY SPECIAL FLOOD HAZARD AREAS, (2) EVALUATE THE ACCURACY OF BFE'S AND FLOOD HAZARD DETERMINATIONS, AN (3) DETERMINE WHETHER CHANGES HAVE OCCURRED THAT WARRANT MODIFICATIONS
