Abstract:
THE REGULATIONS PROVIDE THE PROCEDURES AND THE STATEMENTS TO BE FILED BY S CORPORATIONS FOR MAKING THE ELECTIONS PROVIDED UNDER SECTION 1368. THE REGULATIONS ALSO PROVIDE THE PROCEDURES AND STATEMENT REQUIRED TO BE FILED BY TAXPAYERS FOR MAKING AN ELECTION TO USE AN AVERAGE BASIS METHOD OF DETERMINING THE BASIS OF S CORPORATION STOCK UNDER SECTION 1012.
