Abstract:
PERSONS WHO HAVE COMMITTED VIOLATIONS OF THE FAA MAY SUBMIT AN OFFER IN COMPROMISE. THE OFFER IS A REQUEST BY THE PERSON IN VIOLATION TO SETTLE LIABILITIES IN LIEU OF CIVIL OR CRIMINAL ACTION. ATF F 5640.2 IDENTIFIES THE PERSON WHO HAS COMMITTED THE VIOLATION(S), THE VIOLATION(S) TO BE COMPROMISED AND A STATEMENT OF THE AMOUNT OF THE OFFER PLUS JUSTIFICATION BY THE PERSON FOR ACCEPTANCE FOR THE OFFER.

On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that the collection of information encompassed by this request complies with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR 1320.8(b)(3).
The following is a summary of the topics, regarding the proposed collection of information, that the certification covers:
