Abstract:
THIS REPORT IS USED TO MONITOR WINERY OPERATIONS TO INSURE COLLECTION WINE TAX REVENUES. IT FURTHER INSURES THAT WINE IS PRODUCED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE RULES ESTABLISHED IN LAW AND REGULATIONS. ATF F 5120.17 PROVIDES THE RAW DATA FOR ATF'S MONTHLY STATISTICAL RELEASE ON WINE, WHICH IS USED BY BOTH ATF AND OTHER FEDERAL AGENCIES AS WELL REGULATED INDUSTRY FOR TREND ANALYSIS AND PLANNING.
