Approved. We have acted on this clearance to facilitate preparations for inclusion of this form in Package X. As for prior submissions, we will act favorably on a request to allow the expiration date to be omitted. However, the Department should submit an Inventory Correctio Worksheet to OMB for this purpose. Also, the Department should send OMB better documentation showing how item 4 of the resubmission O/A October 31, 1989 will reduce burden through the elimination of lists o specific projects.

Abstract:
TAXPAYERS ARE ALLOWED A CREDIT AGAINST THEIR INCOME TAX FOR INVESTMENT IN CERTAIN PROPERTY USED IN THEIR TRADE OR BUSINESS. FORM 3468 IS USED TO COMPUTE THIS INVESTMENT TAX CREDIT. THE INFORMATION COLLECTED IS USED BY THE IRS TO VERIFY THAT THE CREDIT HAS BEEN COMPUTED CORRECTLY.
