Abstract:
THIS REGULATION REQUIRES EMPLOYERS TO TRAIN EMPLOYEES ABOUT THE HAZARD OF FORMALDEHYDE, MONITOR EMPLOYEE EXPOSURE, PROVIDE MEDICAL SURVEILLAN AND MAINTAIN ACCURATE RECORDS OF EMPLOYEE EXPOSURE. THESE RECORDS WIL BE USED BY EMPLOYERS, EMPLOYEES, PHYSICIANS AND THE GOVERNMENT TO ENSU THAT EMPLOYEES ARE NOT HARMED BY EXPOSURE TO FORMALDEHYDE.
