FORM 2290 IS USED TO COMPUTE AND REPORT THE TAX IMPOSED BY SECTION 448 ON THE HIGHWAY USE OF CERTAIN MOTOR VEHICLES. THE INFORMATION IS USED DETERMINE WHETHER THE TAXPAYER HAS PAID THE CORRECT AMOUNT OF TAX.
