Abstract:
PROVIDES DATA TO ESTIMATE CATTLE ON FEED, LIVESTOCK COUNTY ESTIMATES, MOHAIR PRODUCTION, BLUESTEM PASTURE, LEASE PRICES, AND SLAUGHTER TOTALS. A COORDINATED PROGRAM WITH FSIS, AMS AND NASS PROVIDES WEEKLY AND MONTHLY REPORTS OF ANIMALS SLAUGHTERED PLUS LIVE AND DRESSED WEIGHTS. ESTIMATES ARE USED BY LIVESTOCK INDUSTRY IN PRODUCTION AND MARKETING DECISIONS.
