IN ORDER TO DEAL IN A HUMANITARIAN WAY WITH APPROXIMATELY 1,000,000 INELIGIBLE SPOUSES AND CHILDREN OF LEGALIZED ALIENS THE SERVICE WILL PROCESS REQUESTS FOR PERMISSION TO REMAIN IN THE UNITED STATES AND RECEIVE EMPLOYMENT AUTHORIZATION (FAMILY FAIRNESS PROGRAM).
