PROVIDES DATA TO ESTIMATE PRICES RECEIVED BY FARMERS AND PRICES PAID FOR PRODUCTION GOODS AND SERVICES. USED TO COMPUTE PARITY PRICES AS REQUIRED BY AGRICULTURAL ADJUSTMENT ACT OF 1938, COMPUTES "TARGET PRICES" UNDER PROVISIONS OF FOOD AND AGRICULTURAL ACT OF 1977, AND VALUE PRODUCTION, INVENTORY, AND CASH RECEIPTS FROM FARMING.
