Terms of Clearance:
This information collection for the AIDS Research Loan Repayment Program (LRP) is approved for use for one year. No additional clearances beyond 6/91 will be considered by OMB until the Department has published, at a minimum, a notice of proposed rulemaking (NPRM) as required by the Administrative Procedures Act to establish the AIDS Research LRP program regulations. In the absence of regulations, potential program participants should be advised of their obligations and the obligations of the Secretary of HHS based on the information and forms as cleared in this package. The November 8, 1989 Federal Register notice announcing the AIDS Research LRP is now outdated and should no longer be used to explain the terms of the program to potential participants.
