TELEPHONE COMPANIES ARE REQUIRED TO SUBMIT DATA ANNUALLY TO THE NATIONAL EXCHANGE CARRIER ASSOCIATION FOR THE FILING OF ACCESS TARIFFS STATE OR LOCAL TELEPHONE COMPANIES WHO WANT TO PARTICIPATE IN THE FEDERAL ASSISTANCE PROGRAM MUST MAKE CERTAIN INFORMATIONAL SHOWINGS TO DEMONSTRATE ELIGIBILITY.
