Abstract:
THIS RULEMAKING AMENDS 10 CFR 20.403 BY DELETING CERTAIN INFORMATION IN PART 20.403 FOR MATERIAL LICENSEES AND ESTABLISHING NEW SECTIONS IN PARTS 30, 40, AND 70. THE PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE RULEMAKING IS TO REVISE THE REPORTING REQUIREMENTS FOR MATERIAL LICENSEES. THE AMENDED REGULATIONS PROVIDE ADDITIONAL DETAILS ON WHEN TO NOTIFY THE NRC RELATIVE TO INCIDENTS.
