THE INFORMATION COLLECTED BY THE SSA-8006 IS USED BY SSA TO DETERMINE IF AN APPLICANT OR RECIPIENT MEETS THE INCOME CRITERIA FOR ELIGIBILITY TO SUPPLEMENTAL SECURITY INCOME (SSI) BENEFIT THE AFFECTED PUBLIC IS COMPRISED OF INDIVIDUALS WHO APPLY FOR OR ARE RECEIVING SSI PAYMENTS.
