This ICR is approved for three years. EPA shall continue to require 6(a)(2) submitters to retain certified mail receipts for two years rather than for the life of the product. Recordkeeping for the life of the product should be limited to health and safety data. EPA has done a good job reestimating the burden more accurately.

REGISTRANTS OF PESTICIDES ARE REQUIRED BY 5 USC 136D(A)(2) TO PROVIDE EPA WITH ANY NEW INFORMATION WHICH MAY BE RELEVANT TO THE AGENCY'S ASSESSMENT OF UNREASONABLE ADVERSE EFFECTS. EPA, IN 44 FR 40716, JULY 12, 1979, AND 50 FR 38115, SEPTEMBER 20, 1985, EXCEPTED SOME INFORMATION FROM THE THE REQUIREMENTS. THIS COLLECTION RENEWS THE REQUIREMENTS CLEARED PREVIOUSLY.
