Approved subject to the conditions that: 1) an explanation of project objectives, protocols, interviewer guides, and method of selection of participants, screening questions for participants, and related materials will be submitted to OMB for review and approval a minimum of two weeks prior to use, 2) a report for each project will be submitted to OMB upon completion, and 3) an annual briefing covering completed and ongoing projects and plans for the next year will be provided for OMB in early September of each year. BLS may submit the information for each project using Inventory Correction Worksheets Remarks entered 7/2/91 - Your request for approval of testing the following IRS forms is approved - Schedule D, 2119, 4684, 4797, and 6252. Remarks entered 7/16/92 - Your request for approval of Phase One of the 1993 Current Point of Purchase Telephone Questionnaire Test is approved. Abstract:
THE PROPOSED LABORATORY RESEARCH WILL IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF DATA COLLECTION BY EXAMINING THE PSYCHOLOGICAL AND COGNITIVE ASPECTS OF METHODS AND PROCEDURES SUCH AS: QUESTIONNAIRE CONSTRUCTION, SURVEY TECHNOLOGY AND INTERVIEW PROCESSE. THE PLANNED RESEARCH AND DEVELOPME ACTIVITIES WILL BE CONDUCTED DURING FY 1991 THROUGH FY 1993 WITH THE GOAL OF IMPROVING OVERALL DATA QUALITY THROUGH IMPROVED PROCEDURES.
