Abstract:
THIS REPORT PROVIDES BASIC INFORMATION ABOUT A BOATING ACCIDENT WHICH MAY LEAD TO FURTHER INVESTIGATION BY COAST GUARD, LOCAL OR STATE OFFICERS. A STATISTICAL DATA BASE IS CREATED TO PUBLISH AN ANNUAL REPORT REQUIRED BY 46 USC 6102 AND FOR ANALYTICAL PURPOSES. THIS CG FORM IS USED FOR ONE STATE, REMAINING STATES PATTERN THEIR FORMS ON IT. RESPONDENTS ARE OPERATORS OF RECREATIONAL BOATS
