Abstract:
THE PROHIBITION ON THE USE OF PRESENCE SENSING DEVICE INITIATION (PSDI) IS TO BE REMOVED. TO ASSURE THE SAFETY OF THE SYSTEM, THIS FINAL RULE REQUIRES A CERTIFICATION PROGRAM. THE MANUFACTURERS AND EMPLOYERS WHO CHOOSE TO USE PSDI WILL HAVE TO MAINTAIN SOME RECORDS IN ORDER TO MEET THE REQUIREMENTS OF THIS STANDARD.
