Terms of Clearance:
Approved as amended by ED's memorandum of 5/1/91. In addition, a shor clearance is granted due to the pending submission of new regulations for this program, which will require a new information collection submission. OMB notes that ED's delay in responding to OMB concerns led to the collection of this information prior to clearance; upon the next submission of this package, ED should allow sufficient time to me both review requirements under the Paperwork Reduction Act and statuto deadlines under the Perkins Act.

P.L. 101-392 REQUIRES STATE BOARDS FOR VOCATIONAL EDUCATION TO SUBMIT THREE-YEAR STATE PLAN, WITH ANNUAL REVISIONS AS THE BOARDS DEEM NECESSARY IN ORDER TO RECEIVE FEDERAL FUNDS. PROGRAM STAFF REVIEW THE PLANS FOR COMPLIANCE AND QUALITY.
