10 CFR PART 60 REQUIRES STATES AND INDIAN TRIBES TO SUBMIT CERTAIN INFORMATION TO NRC IF THEY REQUEST CONSULTATION WITH NRC STAFF CONCERNING REVIEW OF A POTENTIAL REPOSITORY SITE OR WISH TO PARTICIPATE IN A LICENSE REVIEW FOR A POTENTIAL REPOSITORY. REPRESENTATIVES OF STATES OR INDIAN TRIBES MUST SUBMIT A STATEMENT OF THEIR AUTHORITY TO ACT.

On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that the collection of information encompassed by this request complies with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR 1320.8(b)(3).
